For Sale: Two Hermann Tortoises (Testudo Hermanni)

Age: Approximately 8 years old
Location: Kapiti Coast
Living Conditions: Outdoors year-round; have brumated from mid-April to mid-September each year.


We’ve house them in a 4.1m x 2.4m outdoor enclosure with a shelter in one corner.
The enclosure has a 20cm layer of sand, clay, and topsoil, and they have continuous access to water, clover, and a variety of green leaves.
Occasionally, they are fed fruits like apple and strawberry, though only in small amounts due to the high sugar content.
Both tortoises are likely male, but you can judge from the pictures.
Hermann tortoises can grow up to 20cm in length.

Important Care Information:
Hermann tortoises should be kept outside year-round in a frost-free, sunny location.
Their diet should consist mainly of fresh leaves, and they must always have access to clean water.
We also provide cuttlefish bone as a calcium source.

The sale is for both tortoises as a pair—no individual sales.
The enclosure is included for free.
