Three Toed Box Turtle

Year old baby Three toed box turtles.

These are excellent little critters who have been reared in a humid warm terrarium for great development and shell health. These eat insects such as mealworms, locusts and crickets. They enjoy warm damp substrate to bury into.

They must have exposure to quality UVB lighting and suitable heat source such as a deep heat projector on a thermostat and a low wattage heat pad situated below the substrate to form a gentle radiating heat through the substrate.

They thrive outside in warmer climates.
