Teale (Ellie's Canine Rescue & Rehome)

Teale is a 2-3 yr old lovely, cuddly, playful Greyhound x Lab female, she is large height but lean build.

Teale is a sweetheart: she’s a fun, playful goofball who makes you laugh with her character & melt your heart with her cuddles

She’s great with dogs that want to play with her, she loves playing with her foster brother & will run/play as much as he wants. She loves all dogs she meets & would make a great companion for both humans & dogs alike.

Teale loves to chill & cuddle with you on the couch, she likes if you pat her like a big cat.

She sleeps throughout the night in an open crate
We leave her at home with 2 foster siblings up to 8 hrs a day (occasionally) & does great
She is toilet trained and walks pretty well on lead.
She knows sit, down, wait & is improving her off-lead recall

She’s the type of dog that loves seeing the world & being at your side.

Teale will make an amazing best friend & has so much love to give. She would do great in a family home, or with an active person that likes all her attention

Due to being underfed when younger Teale has a luxating patella on her right hind leg. It has been checked by the vets & is doing great with regular exercise & specialised food. If this was kept up, she may not need surgery when she is older.

Ellie’s are based in the Greater Wellington region, depending on the dog we do adopt out of the region but request the potential owner meet us & the dog in person. We do not ship dogs unmet. Undesexed dogs & puppies are not rehomed outside of the Wellington Region
