Meet our little pocket Sasha who recently came into our care from the Ashburton District Council Shelter. Sasha is an 18 month old Bull Terrier X who is a fun mixture of sassy and sweet.

Sasha is amazing with people and absolutely loves to play with her toys. She does need to learn some calm manners as she can become a bit mouthy and jumpy when overexcited. Sasha needs some further socialisation around other dogs as she does tend to get a wee bit over excited around them. She did socialise well with a male dog here at the shelter and had a great time with him. Sasha can become a bit overzealous when playing with other dogs and needs to learn that not everyone is going to love being jumped on! We have not yet cat tested her.

Due to her sometimes over ‘enthusiastic’ behaviour, she is best suited to a home with older dog savvy children. We’d love to see her in a home that is committed from the get go to her training and socialisation. She is a super fun dog and deserves a home that will harness her energy the right way.
