Good with children under 10: Not tested but is quite jumpy. Over 5yrs old and used to dogs would be fine.

Can be left alone during work hours: No. Can be left in crate up to 2 hours no longer provided he has been walked or enrichment provided.

PawFit: Best suited to a family or human who is patient, calm & kind. He can be an active boy who loves chasing after balls in a soft floppy way. He loves running around in the meadow and playing with his foster dog siblings (can provide videos) and gets on well with dogs we've met out and about.

PawTricks: Sit, stop, down, look at me, Stay up to 1min, come, touch, turn around, impulse control, solid recall, crate trained, place (also point to the dog bed or crate). Have taught him the command QUIET as he can whine (excitement, kai time) or bark at strangers.

PawLikes: Food motivated, chewing on his antler, tennis ball, likes to take himself to bed when tired or needs to chill.

Kihi is good on lead. Has a good heel and stop command while on walks.

Kihi is a gorgeous, soft natured boy who will give you unconditional love. Due to his background, he can be scared of strange men, we are happy to provide more details on application.

Ellie’s Canine Rescue are based in the Greater Wellington region, depending on the dog we do adopt out of the Wellington region but request any potential owner meet us and the dog in person and if successful drive home with the dog. We do not ship dogs unmet. Undesexed dogs and puppies are not rehomed outside of the Greater Wellington Region.
