Handsome, loving year old German Shepherd

With great sadness and no fault of his own. Unfortunately, our German Shepherd Chase needs to find a new loving home.

He was rescued, so he did not have much history, but he is fully vaccinated now, flea and worming up to date, microchipped, and health checks were all good. We believe he is now a year old. We rescued him at 7 months. Is he not neutered.

Currently on wainwrights adult dry food.

He is a loving boy and very sweet, nervous with strangers (can bark at you first), but once he knows you, he's a big personality and a big goofball, very playful. He will make a lovely companion. but he will need to be the ONLY dog in the home and no cats/other animals or young children due to not being tested with them. He may live with a large breed female.

His ideal home would be with someone who has experience with this breed or similar. He needs an active home that will take him on daily walks and continue his training such as socialisation, commands, etc. He knows some basics already, such as sit, lay down, paw. His social skills have improved more since we have had him, but still will bark at times with strangers and other dogs, but nothing compared to when we first got him. He needs plenty of exercise and stimulation.

He is currently living with 2 other dogs. However, Chase and the other male dog do not get on well, so it isn't fair for them to live together.

There will need to be a home visit and a visit with the potential buyer with Chase before committing, as we want to make sure that he is going to the best home and care possible.
