Cats Protection Canterbury - The Colony Kitties

The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

Among the cats available are MORK, JACK and RACHEL.

Mork, Jack and Rachel are all young adults who have been colony strays. They are shy but gentle and have lots of love to give. They will suit quiet, calm homes and patient new owners. Please see individual adverts for more details.

These very special kitties have come into CPL care thanks to a massive community effort. The colony started as a group of undesexed pet cats whose owner passed away. Numbers grew (as they do) until the neighbours stepped in to rescue, desex and socialise them.

They can be adopted as individuals, groups or pairs. They will need to be kept indoors for an extended period while settling and may do best as indoor-only pets.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.

Our website is **** and the cattery is situated at 14 Charlesworth Street, Woolston. It is open 11.00am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday and Sunday, 11.00am to 3.00pm Saturday.
