Cats Protection Canterbury - Silvie

The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

One of the cats available is SILVIE.

Lovely Silvie is about 8 years old. Confident and friendly around people, but also quite independent, she greets you with a head butt and wants to know how you're doing. She came into CPL care as a stray after being rebuffed by the existing cats in a household she was trying to join.

Silvie arrived at the cattery with gastric issues. The vet has found no obvious cause for this so it is most likely stress related. She will need to stay on a sensitivity / gastric diet and will best suit as the only cat in calm adult home. Ideally she should be an indoor-only pet so she doesn't make herself ill by stealing food from the neighbours.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.

Our website is **** and the cattery is situated at 14 Charlesworth Street, Woolston. It is open 11.00am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday and Sunday, 11.00am to 3.00pm Saturday.
