Cats Protection Canterbury - Minerva

The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

One of the cats available is MINERVA.

Lovely Minerva is a teen (older kitten). With her natural elegance and soft, smooth fur it is appropriate that she has been named after a goddess. She is very shy at first, but if you stick around she will warm to you and become playful, smoochy and a bit dribbly.

Minerva is the last of a litter of stray teens who were trapped at the Christchurch Adventure Park and socialised in foster care. She will suit a quiet adult home and a patient new owner who is happy to continue building her confidence. She will need an extended time indoors to settle and may do best as an indoor-only pet.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.

Adoption is by appointment. Please phone the cattery on (03)3840006 and select option 1, or email us at **** (please include your phone number). Our website is **** and the cattery is situated at 14 Charlesworth Street, Woolston. It is open 11.00am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday and Sunday, 11.00am to 3.00pm Saturday.
