Cats Protection Canterbury - Kali

The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

One of the cats available is KALI.

Kali is about 7 years old. Named after a Hindu goddess, she has an appropriately larger-than-life personality and physique to match. She is playful and friendly around people, bossy with other cats and can be loudly vocal.

Kali came into CPL care when her owners moved overseas. Although she seems confident she is quite highly strung and will best suit a calm adult home as the only pet. She is on a dietary supplement (Cystaid) to help control stress cystitis and this will need to be continued.

Kali also has a mild heart murmur. This does not require attention at the moment but will need to be monitored regularly. Our rehoming staff will be happy to advise.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.

Adoption is by appointment. Please phone the cattery on (03)3840006 and select option 1, or email us at **** (please include your phone number). Our website is **** and the cattery is situated at 14 Charlesworth Street, Woolston. It is open 11.00am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday and Sunday, 11.00am to 3.00pm Saturday.
