Cats Protection Canterbury - Deks

The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

One of the cats available is DEKS.

Handsome Deks is about 2 years old. Very cross-eyed (as you can probably see from his photos), he is friendly on his own terms but can be reactive and easily startled. He probably has problems with focusing and this will likely also affect his depth perception and make him accident-prone.

Deks was surrendered by neighbours after being abandoned at a nearby property. He will do best as an indoor-only pet in a quiet adult home with a patient and understanding owner.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.

Adoption is by appointment. Please phone the cattery on (03)3840006 and select option 1, or email us at **** (please include your phone number). Our website is **** and the cattery is situated at 14 Charlesworth Street, Woolston. It is open 11.00am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday and Sunday, 11.00am to 3.00pm Saturday.
