Cats Protection Canterbury - Casey

The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

One of the cats available is CASEY.

Handsome Casey is about 2 years old. Very shy on arrival, he spent a long hiding under his blankets. He is blossoming into a friendly chap who enjoys gentle fuss, but is still sometimes hand-shy. He also loves his treats! He will suit a quiet adult home with a patient, more experienced owner who is happy to continue with his socialisation.

Casey came into CPL care as an emergency surrender after being trapped as a "nuisance" stray. He was advertised as Found but remains unclaimed so he is now available for adoption.

Casey has tested positive for FIV (feline aids) and this means he will need to be an indoor-only pet. Please talk to our rehoming staff for more information about this.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.

Adoption is by appointment. Please phone the cattery on (03)3840006 and select option 1, or email us at **** (please include your phone number). Our website is **** and the cattery is situated at 14 Charlesworth Street, Woolston. It is open 11.00am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday and Sunday, 11.00am to 3.00pm Saturday.
